  • Carlisle

    DOB:
    Gender: Male
    Spayed or Neutered: Scheduled

Carlisle is a timid but sweet cat who came to us along with Naughty and Nice after their owner unfortunately passed away. Since coming to the shelter, all 3 cats have been very affectionate and happily accept treats. They also enjoy cuddles and being brushed. Despite coming from the same home, the 3 boys don’t actually get along too well and would prefer to each find their separate furever homes.

    Intake: November 2025

  • Clam

    DOB: May 29th 2023
    Gender: Female
    Spayed or Neutered: Yes

Clam is a beautiful tortoiseshell. She is the type of cat who will warm up to you over time- she just needs some space before becoming friends. She does okay with other cats but is also content being the queen of the household. Her ideal furever home would be one without children.

  • Dee

    DOB: July 27th 2021
    Gender: Female
    Spayed or Neutered: Yes

Hi, I’m Dee, the shyest cat at the shelter. When humans are around, I love to hide in tunnels and cat trees. I have had a rough life up until now, so I need a lot of patience and for you to respect my boundaries. I am slowly but surely coming around to coexist with humans since they have been giving me treats for just existing!

    Intake: April 2022

  • Edward

    DOB: June 20th 2022
    Gender: Male
    Spayed or Neutered: Yes

    SPECIAL DIET

Edward was surrendered to us after his owners both ended up moving to nursing homes and had nowhere else to go. Upon intake, it was prevalent that he had a severe UTI due to constant bleeding and red urine. He was taken to the vet, where it was discovered that he had probably had the infection since kittenhood and was never treated or given any pain medication. At first, Edward was very angry with us and would not like to be touched or looked at due to the immense pain he had been in his whole life. Now that he is fully recovered from the UTI, Edward will need to be on prescription urinary food for life due to the extreme damage done to his bladder/kidneys.

    Gender: Male
    Spayed or Neutered: Schedule

Giles is a very affectionate long haired cat. He was abandoned by his owners when they moved away. Luckily a neighbour found Giles and called us. We can not figure out why such a sweet cat was left behind but we are happy to have him with us now. We hope that his next home will be furever.

He is on a diet of wet food as he awaits dental surgery- which will be fully covered by us here at the shelter. It is our hope that someone can find it in their heart to give Hoagie a furever home as he still has so much life to live.

Hi there, I’m Jewel and I am a very shy kitty. I arrived at the shelter while I was pregnant and quite friendly. However, after giving birth, I became more reserved. When I meet new people, I get scared, and although I come across as mean, it’s only because I don’t trust easily!

Roomba is one of our longest residents but he has not given up hope on finding his furever home. It took him quite a while to settle in and begin trusting humans again. He gets along well with other cats but can play rough. For this reason we request that he go to a home without children. His favourite toy is any type of string and he loves lounging in the window watching the birds outside.

  • Shrimp

    DOB: May 27th 2022
    Gender: Female

  • Jinx

    Intake:

  • Snowflake

    DOB:
    Gender: Male
    Spayed or Neutered: Scheduled

Snowflake was found after hours one evening by a very kind woman who happened to run into our shelter manager. Due to his health, we performed an emergency intake and took him to the vet immediately the next morning.

Snowflake has a serious case of upper respiratory infection and we are currently treating his symptoms. We are unsure at this time if he will be able to keep both his eyes as the infection has affected one worse than the other.

Despite all this, Snowflake has stayed paw-sitive and is very sweet and cuddly. He loves to purr and play with the shelter staff during feeding time.

The care he requires at the shelter is costly but we are dedicated to ensuring he gets the treatment he needs to thrive.

He is not available for adoption yet but we wanted to highlight his story. Let this be a reminder of what can happen when cats are allowed to reproduce freely and end up having litters of kittens on the streets.

Please spay and neuter your cats. Snowflake is one of the lucky ones, having been found and taken into shelter. Many cats and kittens don’t end up being so lucky.
