Interested in adopting a dog? Simply fill out a pre-adoption form! If your application is approved, we will be in touch to arrange a “meet and greet” with the dog we think will best suit your family.
Dog Adoption Information.
Dog Adoption Fees.
Dog (age 1+) adoption fees begin at $350.
Puppy adoption fees start at $400.
This fee depends on the dog's breed and age and is subject to increase at the shelter's discretion.
Spay/Neuter & Vaccinations.
Dogs adopted from the shelter are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on their shots, and received internal and external parasite treatment/prevention unless otherwise indicated.
Adoption Process.
Adoption of dogs is not on a first-come, first-serve basis. Adoptees must be approved and dogs will be adopted to households that best meet the needs of the dog. Please fill out a pre-adoption form and contact the shelter for further details.

MEET FLOSSIE
Flossie came to us at CCAS on July 30th after being surrendered. While Flossie is an extremely affectionate pup, she does not do well around small children. If Flossie could crawl under your skin she would, but sitting on your leg/foot will have to do. Flossie’s favorite thing to do is sit by anyone she can and stare directly into your soul in hopes for some pets. While Flossie is a senior, don’t let that fool you, she loves to hop around outside when it’s potty time and she does lots of tricks for her favorite chicken treats. Flossie spent 6 years in a loving home before arriving at the shelter, so it has been pretty hard on her. But with all the extra love and attention she has been getting, she is definitely getting more comfortable and is patiently waiting for her furever home! If you are interested in this sweet little lady, come on down to CCAS to meet Flossie!
